This matted print is a high quality giclee print of the original collage "The Empire State" representing the map of New York State made with pressed wildflowers and leaves grown in New York and New Jersey! The original collage was exhibited at the art show "Botanical Princeton" in November 2024.

Wildflowers and leaves used in this print include aster, bugleweed, buttercup, cinquefoil, clover, daisy, dandelion, fern, ficaria, forget-me-not, loosestrife, milkweed, Queen Anne's lace, rose (NY state flower -where Albany is!), smartweed, solidago, spiderwort, and violet. Can you spot the Hudson River (blue petals), the Finger Lakes, Manhattan, and Niagara Falls (billowy plumes of Queen Anne's Lace)?!

The print is printed on premium quality textured watercolor art paper. The mat is 8x10, with an opening for the print of 5x7.

No preservative or dye were used in the original collage. The colors of the flowers on the printed card are the original colors.
