This matted print is a high quality giclee print of the original collage "DC in Bloom" representing the map of Washington, D.C. made with pressed cherry blossoms and other flowers grown in the District of Columbia and Princeton, New Jersey! It is an homage to the Washington Cherry Blossom Festival. 
Real flowers used in the original design, reproduced here as a print, include cherry blossoms, chrysanthemum (the White House!), fern (the National Mall!), hydrangea (the Capitol!), larkspur (the Potomac!), ume Japanese apricot blossoms, and wild strawberry leaves (the National Arboretum!).

The print is printed on premium quality textured watercolor art paper. The mat is 8x10, with an opening for the print of 5x7.

No preservative or dye were used in the original collage. The colors of the flowers on the printed card are the original colors.
