This greeting card is a print of the original collage "DC in Bloom" representing the map of Washington, D.C. made with pressed cherry blossoms and other flowers grown in the District of Columbia and Princeton, New Jersey! It is an homage to the Washington Cherry Blossom Festival. The original collage will be exhibited at the art show "Botanical Princeton" in November 2024.

Flowers used in this card include cherry blossoms, chrysanthemum (the White House!), fern (the National Mall!), hydrangea (the Capitol!), larkspur (the Potomac!), ume Japanese apricot blossoms, and wild strawberry leaves (the National Arboretum!).

The card is printed on good quality textured cardstock in ivory color. The folded card is 5 x 7 and comes with a matching envelope.

No preservative or dye were used in the original collage. The colors of the flowers on the printed card are the original colors.

The cards could be used for many occasions: college move-in or graduation, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, living room, dorm room, hostess gift, housewarming present, wedding gift, and so on! Or you could just buy the card as wall art for yourself and frame it to use it as wall decor!

Cards purchased under the quantity discount come with a matching envelope but are not wrapped individually in a cello sleeve.
