Pressed flower earrings on hypoallergenic gold-plated earrings for pierced ears (clip-on earrings available for substitution)
These dainty earrings are made from real flowers and leaves grown in my Garden State garden, then pressed in my Princeton, NJ dried flower studio, and then embedded in resin, sometimes with a tiny touch of glitter, inside a golden oval charm. See pictures for measurements. The color of the flowers may continue to fade over time but it is part of these earrings' boho, eco appeal!
In the Victorian era, birthday months were assigned one or two birth flowers:
-January: snowdrop and carnation (dianthus)
-February: violet and primrose
-March: daffodil
-April: daisy and sweet pea
-May: Lily-of-the-valley and hawthorn
-June: rose and honeysuckle
-July: delphinium (larkspur) and waterlilies
-August: gladiolus and poppy
-September: aster and morning glory
-October: cosmos and marigold
-November: chrysanthemum
-December: holly and narcissus
I only have a couple of earrings for each month. I can also custom make the earrings for you and personalize them with several different birth flowers for instance (this would be a great gift for a mom with kids born on different months!). You can also ask me for silver instead of gold, a little glitter, etc.
This would make a great gift for an avid gardener, as well as for anyone who loves flowers and was born in any of the 12 months!!!!!!! This is a very unique, one-of-a-kind gift for yourself or for others.
Because each item is made by hand and from a genuine leaf, it is not symmetrical and has imperfections. That is part of the charm of botanical resin jewelry!
